Welcome to Magenta and SWOPWA – sex worker support projects for Western Australia.

We will close for three weeks over the Christmas/New Year Break from 3.30pm Thursday 18 December 2008 and will reopen at 9.00am Monday 12 January 2009.

We wish all our clients a Merry Christmas and safe and prosperous new year.

Magenta - Sex Worker Support Project

Magenta provides outreach and in-house services to sex workers in commercial sexual services and small owner operated businesses.

Magenta aims:

  • to promote the health and safety of sex workers through health promotion, advocacy, and community education; and
  • to provide high quality services that respond to the diverse and changing needs of people associated with the sex industry.

Magenta offers support, health services, education and information to female, male and transgender workers in the sex industry.

We provide confidential and sex worker friendly services and respect the needs of those in the sex industry.

SWOPWA – Street Worker Outreach Project WA

SWOPWA services are for street based sex workers only. Educators are out on the streets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and two out of three Friday and Saturday nights. Workers can also drop into the office between 9am and 4pm Monday to Thursday and have a chat with an Educator.

Magenta and SWOPWA are programs of FPWA Sexual Health Services (formerly Family Planning). Magenta and SWOPWA are not part of the government, or affiliated with any businesses in the sex industry.
